pickI resisted this for some stupid reason, I was recommended to read this by a dear friend and I told her I would think about it. Instead, I inquired with Libby as to availability. In fact, I felt rather guilty that I displayed such a lack of enthusiasm to my friend that I immediately requested eBook and/or audio.
The audio is fantastic! I enjoyed this so much!! I laughed, I cried, I wanted to hug all the characters 🤣

If only Ebineezer Scrooge had social media and the benefit of reading brutal comments he might have been able to forgo the trauma of his ghosts of past, present, and future and spread his Christmas cheer straightaway. This was a bittersweet reimagining of that tale as old as time.

pickThis is another book club selection and a low pick for me. It kept me engaged and I did want to find out what was happening in this remote Appalachian community but it was a bit unrealistic. Probably my least favorite of the many I‘ve read by this author.

I know I‘m a day late, but even though the first thing that actually came to mind for #Redemption was Bob Marley, I‘m going with P&P because I think it‘s fascinating that our view of the characters gets redeemed even more dramatically than they actually change over the course of the novel.
