I‘ve been reading this for years and finally finished! Definitely a pick for anyone as fascinated with Richard Nixon as I am. I realized near the end that the day I‘m planning to leave Japan after 17 years here is the 49th anniversary of his resignation, so the last part about his departure particularly resonated. #chunskter

⭐️⭐️Every year, for the last 4 years, I listen to a presidential biography. They are generally harder works for me to get through, but this one proved almost impossible.
A lot comes down to the audio narrator who honestly sounds like a computer reading the book - so much so that I at first looked it up to make sure it was actually a human. And for THIRTY EIGHT HOURS, that‘s a lot. This book did too much & with a very difficult narrator.

Great question and answer book about the presidents!

I always felt that Bush did the right thing here as well (it's probably the only thing he ever did that I agree with). Michael Moore might have given him grief over this decision, but Michael Moore is a ridiculous propaganda artist who is even less credible than Bush.

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description or reason for wanting to read the book. Some are old and some will be new. Don't judge me - I have a lot of books.
