This was a fun and quick read that touches on the impact of Taylor Swift‘s music (so far) on a micro and macro level. It kind of jumps all around and I didn‘t always fully agree with the author‘s song interpretations/opinions (although that‘s the beauty of art). I did also learn some new things. It was especially satisfying to listen to this in celebration of Taylor gaining ownership of all of her masters! 🎧
pickI read these two pretty close together so I thought this was hilarious. 💀 🌅 The tagged book was my “book that is a graphic novel / comic / memoir” for #TBRTarot It‘s a very cute book about a skeleton that desperately wants to join the town band. Unfortunately, she terrifies the town every time she tries to show off her music chops until she doesn‘t. And the puns are top tier.👌
This book is a Netgalley book I was approved for before it was approved but I never got around to reading it. I found out that recently Taylor Swift is older than me by about 6 or 7 months so she‘s not that much older than me. Her birthday is December 13, 1989 and my birthday is July 9, 1990. She turned 35 in December. I‘ll be 35 in July. I like her so I think that‘s really cool.
pickI‘m an OG swiftie from right back when I first heard Tim McGraw back in 2006. Reading this book was an insight into Swifts life I didn‘t have before and I loved every minute of it.
