The promotion of medical examiners across America was instituted by a wealthy woman in the early 1900s who bankrolled Harvard to set up classes designed to teach the importance of a systematic and educated way of viewing criminal death. This was incredibly interesting! A bit much on her early years but Ms Lee‘s fascination with forensic education and her drive was inspiring.
I‘m not sure why the different book title but it‘s definitely the same book. This was absolutely fascinating when it got to the point but there was a lot of unnecessary info about other people/things which seemed irrelevant
Still a pick though as it was so interesting to hear the story of such a successful woman
The second in the Sixty-Eight Rooms Adventure series set in the Thorne Rooms at the Art Institute of Chicago. #TemptingTitles #WithMagic @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
Set in the Thorne Rooms at the Art Institute of Chicago, two kids find a magic key that lets them explore the rooms. They are aimed at middle graders, but I enjoyed them. #ArtMuseumDay #NovemberNarrative @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
How Christmas was celebrated during the medieval period #wintergsmes2021 #mistletoemaniacs +6pts
We‘ve actually just celebrated a medieval festival (there‘s lots we do during the Christmas season that have medieval roots)
5/5⭐ If, like me, you squee when you see tiny things, you will love this book. The authors clearly know their audience, from the way they stage their photos to the wording they use in descriptions and instructions. The projects are adorable, creative, fun, varied, and explained clearly. An extra 5 stars just for Rory the rabbit's hindquarters and fabulous bow modeling. #bookspinbingo @thearomaofbooks
I had almost given up hope, but then they appeared as promised, on the very last page, bunny buns in the most perfect possible way!
Now that's a dedication! 😄 I'll check back in when I get to said photo of bunny buns. 🐇
