IamIamIam @Jinjer MAN, why you gotta be like that!! 😂😂😂 I was screwed on the first day because we had a function so I totally forgot to start! LMAO, and I just got back from a week in Ireland so I'm being gentle with myself. Lol, but thanks for the encouragement! 😉 7y

I have a few chapters to catch up on, but I am joining the #lotrreadalong Sauron and I are ready for an adventure. The is definately one of my favourite series 💛

monkeygirlsmama I'm reading the Lord of the Rings series for the first time ever because of the #lotrchapteraday readalong. I can't stress enough how happy I am I finally decided to read them. Only 6 chapters in on Fellowship of the Rings, and I'm already loving it. I always expected these books would be boring to me, but they're totally not. 😁 Glad you're reading with us. 😌 7y

Tsubame It's been like a decade that I tried reading them, but back then I bailed in the middle of the fight at Minas Tirith, because I just couldn't bare it any longer. Tolkiens language was pure dread to me, but maybe I should give it another try... 7y

I-read-and-eat @monkeygirlsmama I wish I could read it again 😀 Not going to lie... some parts can be challenging as Tolkien is very descriptive. @Tsubame I usually skip the long long long battle scenes as I don't care for them. This makes the books much more exciting 😉 7y
