Made the mistake of sitting down without a book while I posted my ARC reviews. Now I‘m stuck lol- guess I‘ll scroll Litsy :) trying to get my mental balance back after the craziness of moving. I need to be on here more, read more, and do more yoga. And stay OFF Facebook lol.
I can't believe it took me so long to read this! I read a Thousand Splendid Suns years ago and I always planned to read this one as well, but I never seemed to get around to it. I was a bit worried that after all the buildup I wouldn't enjoy it, but it was so good!
I‘m starting this journey today. I‘ve put it off for way too long.
#WindsOfMarch Day 9: #KiteFlying - in this story, the reader gets introduced to Basant, a “spring kite festival celebrated all across South Asia.” The setting of this book is in the ancient city of Pakistan, specifically the rooftops of Lahore. Malik, a young boy in a wheelchair, is up early with his kite named Falcon. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-7IB
