pickI‘m not very religious but I feel the author offers some very practical advice here, much of it based on humbling experiences from her own life. It‘s still hard to believe the scathing remarks she was subjected to simply because she called for compassion.
pickI‘ve been listening to this a chapter a day for the last few weeks and enjoyed it. As @Lcsmcat said it‘s more of a memoir than an instruction manual but I liked the stories. I‘m almost always interested in stories of women in power and how they got there. I wish she would do an update for the year 2025.

How‘s everyone doing with this? I‘m six chapters in, and I think the title might have been more accurate if it were Learning to Be Brave. I‘d just like to take a moment to share a lil‘ picture I took of a small misprint in this morning‘s liturgy at my church 😆
I‘m sure it was completely unintentional; our admin likely copy/pasted the first Sunday of Lent liturgy from last year and didn‘t notice there were adjustments needed, but still. It made me chuckle.
For everything you criticize, I challenge you to offer at least one suggestion for making it better.”
