3 ⭐ This is a brief introduction to Ralph Waldo Emerson for children. It is very well done, even though when I look at it, I think of Mr. Lincoln. There is nothing wrong with this book per se I just found it a tad bit boring.

Ralph Waldo Emerson‘s home and grave in Concord, Massachusetts. It‘s hard to imagine the literary brilliance that was centered in this tiny town in the 19th century!

✍️You are a writer if you BELIEVE you are a writer. Technically, any writings a person makes are “authored” by them, so there really is no difference.
✍️Yes, I am. And I aspire to be a published one someday!
Great questions, Lisa! 👍🏻

"The silent #Organ loudest chants..."
Such a powerful way to describe the heart.
#currentlyreading My favorite student (mentioned previously) brought this 1926 edition to me last week and said she wanted me to read it so we could discuss. I‘ve read Emerson before, but I‘m rereading and refreshing now. It has some delightful annotations from her and previous owners. “Self-Reliance” seems to be her favorite.
