A friend recently bought me three of these cardboard book stands, and I put them together today. Here‘s a portion of my Sci-Fi/Fantasy TBR shelf, now more easily viewable! It frustrates me that they‘re not wider—I have to be a little flexible with my alphabetical order to make it work—but even so, I think I‘m gonna pick up some more and use them for several of my taller shelves.
On my way to the book store and some of the Little Free Libraries for @mamareading birthday! I‘m exited to get more books for my TBR!!!

pick4 ⭐ This little box turtle was born without a shell. His parents give him a nice cardboard shell that the box turtle loves until someone tells them it is “weird”. A journey to find a new shell ensues, but nothing is quite right. This book is lovely. The pictures are what really make this story. It has been told many times in many ways. You are you, and you are special. The illustrations are what makes a reader keep turning the pages.
pickJust read Boxitects to most of my students #outloud. They got the teamwork message. For the activity they chose to read write or draw. The publisher provides fun free printables - the kids loved the page with instructions for making a box. Some students were just inspired to draw what they would build. #WCCPBA 2022 nominee
I treated myself to the Parker‘s bring on the heat big box snd it arrived Wednesday of last week. Such a long week so I loved seeing it on my doorstep. There are a lot of summer goodies in it but also 10 signed books (4 from Weston, 4 from Ali, and 2 from C. Morgan). So happy I splurged on the big size. I don‘t think I‘ll get all these read anytime soon but I‘ll probably start one this weekend. #20in4readathon @Andrew65
