One of my most favorite #bookishcouples is Cat and #Bones 😈
I mean, he is basically Spike so......what's not to love there?

Love this idea!
1. Cat & Bones - Night Huntress. Mostly because they remind me of a badass Spike & Buffy
2. Charley & Reyes - Charley Davidson. Umm smartass Grim Reaper and Son of Satan. Enough said
3. Jamie & Claire - Outlander. Who doesn't love a Scot and his English wench, I mean witch...dammit I mean wife 😂
Special mention to my true couple...Gomez and Morticia who started as cartoons and just didn't make the list

GarthRanzz Thanks for participating Vanessa! Great choices and I love the addition of Gomez and Morticia. Cara Mia! 6y

There is #noordinarylove between Mel Vaught and Sharon Kisses. Reading about the depth of their creative and personal partnership gave me all the feels. The love for those we choose as family is a beautiful thing. I found the drawing on the author's Twitter. It was drawn by someone with the handle discorcl. #fiercefeb
@batsy @Cinfhen

Though not a romance in the traditional sense, they are also one of my favorite #bookishcouples @GarthRanzz 😊❤

batsy Lovely pick! And I love that illustration 💜 6y
JoScho I loved this book 💕 6y

Cinfhen I bailed on this book but I think I need to try again...so much #LitsyLove 6y
readordierachel @Cinfhen I really loved it, but we can't all love the same books all the time, right? 😊 If you do try again, I hope it goes better for you! 6y
GarthRanzz This sound interesting. Thanks for tagging me Rachel! 😊 6y
Cinfhen Thanks... @ReadOrDieRachel 🤞🏼🤞🏼 6y

1. I love Ron and Hermione because they balance each other out. He needs her to motivate him to try harder, and she needs him to mellow her.
2. Ronan and Adam (Raven Cycle) also have a balancing influence on each other. I‘m developing a theme here.
3. October and Tybalt (October Daye) don‘t balance each other so much as kickass together. Watching them learn to trust each other a master class in building a relationship.

GarthRanzz Thanks for participating and for the follow! I‘m not familiar with your second and third choices but they sound interesting. 6y

Anne of Green Gables | L M Montgomery

My top 3 favorite #bookishcouples would be:

💕1. Anne and Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables. No explanation really needed here, they are 💞
💕2. Travis and Abby from Beautiful Disaster. Yes, they are a bit dysfunctional but I love how fiercely they love each other! ❤️
💕3. Rhett and Scarlett from GWTW. Yes, the ending is not the happiest but I believe it implies she will get him back eventually, because she always fights hard for what she wants!

GarthRanzz Thanks for participating and the follow! Great choices. Love seeing people pick Anne and Gilbert. 6y
JenlovesJT47 @GarthRanzz thanks for posting, cool idea! Anne and Gilbert are the best ❤️🤓 6y

1. Anne Shirley & Gilbert Blythe - I adore L. M. Montgomery, & a certain redhead will always be my favourite. She & I are kindred spirits!
2. Jo March & Theodore Laurence - I still maintain Jo & Laurie should be together! Alcott was mad at her publishers, so she didn‘t want to give the ending they wanted.
3. Anne Elliot & Frederick Wentworth - Persuasion is underrated. It shows second chances & true love at any age is attainable.
#bookishcouples

GarthRanzz I knew Anne and Gilbert would be on your list. 😋 But definitely three great literary couples! 6y
catebutler @GarthRanzz You know me well! 💓 6y
JenlovesJT47 I didn't know that about number two, and I agree, Jo and Laurie should be together! I get mad every time I watch the movie 😤 6y

HotCocoaReads Love this!!! 6y
catebutler @JenlovesJT47 I know! So interesting, right! They forced her to write a young adult novel, which she wasn‘t happy about and wanted her to write a happy ending. She based Jo on herself, so she really didn‘t want her to marry at all, and just be independent. When that didn‘t fly, she decided to marry her to an unlikely husband, Professor Bhaer. 6y
catebutler @HotCocoaReads Thanks Jeana! I hope you‘ll participate, so I can see your choices!! 6y
JenlovesJT47 So interesting, I never knew that! I just think Christian Bale and Winona Ryder have great chemistry in the movie and I'm always so mad they don't end up together, you know they were still in love with each other! 🙈 6y
catebutler @JenlovesJT47 I love that film adaptation of the book, and yes, they really had the chemistry and relationship of Jo and Laurie. In my mind, they‘re together, ha! 😆 6y

Bookish Couples:
💖 Arthur & Molly Weasley...because this is the always and forever, still holding hands when they're 80 sort of love.
💖 Eleanor & Park...the sort of star-crossed couple you can't help but love, even though you know they're going to break your heart.
💖 Logan McRae & Roberta Steel...not a couple, but a strange & complicated friendship that will always have my heart!
@GarthRanzz #bookishcouples

GarthRanzz The Weasley‘s! Never thought about it but I do love them as a couple. Great choices! 6y

Annabel Lee: Poem | Edgar Allan Poe

1. Jane Eyre & Mr. Rochester - because they accept each other for who they are
2. "Narrator" and Annabel Lee - because "we loved with a love that was more than love"
3. Snape & Lily - Always
#bookishcouples @GarthRanzz

JennyBookworm Ok, #3 is not a literary couple so to speak, but I'm the ringmaster of my imaginary circus.... 6y
GarthRanzz Love your choices! Especially Annabel Lee. That‘s my favorite of Poe‘s poems. 6y
JennyBookworm @GarthRanzz Thanks! Have you seen the Poe museum in Richmond VA? I used to love to visit it when I lived in Virginia 6y

GarthRanzz Every time I‘ve gone back to the home office in D.C. I‘ve wanted to take a day off and drive there! I really want to visit there and Baltimore. I‘ve even contributed to the museum during fund raisers. 6y
JennyBookworm @GarthRanzz It's small, but so worth it! The docents really know everything you could ask. I never have made it to the Baltimore one, but it's definitely on my list. 6y
GarthRanzz Two of my bucket list places to visit, definitely. 6y
tonyahoswalt I also love the poem Annabel Lee, and the Snape/Lily pairing. 6y
JennyBookworm @tonyahoswalt The Snape/Lily story arc kills me. Every. Single. Time. 😢 6y
Bklover Awwwwwwww.... Snape and Lily! 😘😳😢 6y
