Action packed! With some sorely needed exposition and character development with an invigorating cliffhanger. Looking forward to getting the next in the series from my library!

Definitely more plot than character development, though we do get a few new characters I want to see more of, in this entry, but whether I was in the right mood or the pacing just worked better, I had fun with the adventure and didn't mind that the ending is once again 'to be continued' for this arc.
The polite little bat that wears a sweater vest with collar and tie. I love him.
Sensible advice delivered in the most terrifying way possible. 🫣
Not sure I can really say anything new about filler installments in this series unless they start to wow me again. I like the last one more than this one, hopefully I like the next one better. 🤷🏼♂️
Shows I‘ve watched with my kiddos lately. Hoping to snag more when we aren‘t running around so much. #WinterGames #GingerbreadGems
Adorable
Dammit, I still CARE! Definitely still too plot heavy versus heartfelt moments and shenanigans, but there were snorts of laughter and a hopeful moment I'd been waiting for so, yes, I will be continuing to read every ridiculous book in this series. 🤷🏼♂️
At least the text is self-aware about the fact that it's getting convoluted. This is definitely a bridging book hopefully on that route to a satisfying end to this particular arc in the series. I'm hanging in there, but I do miss the simpler stories (with a smaller cast of characters) from earlier in the series.
