AllDebooks @DGRachel Oh no, intrusive thoughts are a pain in the ass. Have you tried some centering techniques or relaxation exercises? I found that I did better with audiobooks when stress or anxiety levels are high. 2mo

DGRachel @AllDebooks I have a whole arsenal of mindfulness techniques but things are so bad right now that I don‘t even have the energy to implement any of them. It will pass. I usually rely on audiobooks at times like these, too, but they‘re even harder for me to get into right now. 🤷🏻♀️A local indie bookseller always gives me great recs for books that shut out the world, and she was working today, so pause on the ARC while I fall into another book. 2mo
