That moment when two books you are reading at the same time have characters with the same name...

Pickpick

Very intense! I am not the target audience (teenagers) but I am glad I read it.

SpeculativeFemale Another moment of #titleconfusion for me! When I saw the book tagged I thought at first pf the older, anonymous 7y
ContraryMary @SpeculativeFemale instantly what I thought of as well! 7y
tapgurl I read it as a teenager. It was quite shocking! Maybe that's why drugs never appealed to me! 7y
tapgurl Oh wait this isn't the Go Ask Alice I was thinking of! Confusing!! 7y

So, I've decided to give Cassandra Clare a shot. I picked this up awhile back, is it a good place to start? I'm looking for advice - @sprainedbrain any thoughts?? Which book/series do I read first?

sprainedbrain I read the Mortal Instruments first, but that was only because she was publishing them first. If I had it to do again, I think I would read the Infernal Devices first, so this is where to start. 😃 This way you can go chronologically... I love them all but Infernal Devices are my favorite so far. ❤️❤️❤️ 7y
ContraryMary I also read mortal instruments first due to them being published first, but I liked the infernal devices a lot more. 7y
sprainedbrain @ContraryMary Are you reading the Dark Artifices? I'm liking that series, too! 7y

SpeculativeFemale I feel like I have to check out this series at some point. I came acrossed it through my own #titleconfusion while I was reading 7y
ContraryMary @sprainedbrain I read lady midnight and liked it a lot! I'm hoping to start lord of shadows soon! 7y
SpeculativeFemale (On a separate note, we need an edit option for comments. The accrossed/across autocorrect typo in my previous comment is driving me buggy!) 7y

#Titleconfusion = that moment you realize the book you're reading shares its title with a book you've already read as well as a series you were considering reading.
