As I bit into my toast this morning I realized I needed something to read. The upside to multiple TBR piles is that I can quickly get a book in front of my eyes…even one that is the 29th of a series. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I really wish that I could get caught up on this series but sadly this is only book 15! I love the Stone Barrington novels and always look forward to the next in the series. 4🌟!

Stone is seduced by a blonde from his insurance company and shortly thereafter lightened of his valuable paintings. A party he attends also is robbed by jewelry thieves. He and Buschetto try to solve these crimes. Less complicated than some of the Stone mysteries.

Finished my book during a break in our backgammon game. I devoured this one! One of the better Stone Barrington novels for sure!

This is listed as a stone Barrington novel but there were characters from two of the author‘s other series that I haven‘t read. I felt lost. Maybe if I would have been caught up with the other series, I would feel differently. There‘s also a lot of loose ends that I feel like won‘t be answered in the stone barrington series. This just felt like a random book that shouldn‘t be part of the series.

Somebody is after Stone Barrington, but he‘s lost his memory so he has no clue why.

Loved my first Stuart Woods detective story! This is the first of many Stone Barrington books. Great suspense mystery with lots of twists and plenty of suspects; I was guessing and re-guessing from start to finish. (It is clear that certain sexist words and phrases were more accepted in the writing and editing process twenty-ish years ago than they are today. Thankful for evolving standards and progress!)

I couldn‘t resist sitting outside by these flowers with the first Stone Barrington book. Has anyone read these? It‘s a long series and I‘m just starting!

I am so far behind on this series but I‘m trying to catch up! Stone Barrington is one of my favorite characters. I love reading about him and all of his adventures.

This is the new book booth at my church festival. Used books were $1 each. I didn‘t have a lot of time to look, but there was an interesting collection of like-new Stone Barrington hardcovers. #usedbooks #charity
