I thought I‘d ordered the new book about young Han Solo, meeting up with his Wookie friend & causing chaos through the galaxy. Sounds good right? Instead, I got a picture guide to the making of the movie. Which is about 1cm thick. And still cost me $38AU.😑 #LaughItUpFuzzBall

#BookMail & #StarWarsHaul Pt5 This one is set during The Empire Strikes Back & Return Of The Jedi Also written by Claudia Gray, it‘s about two friends, who having grown up in the empire, attend the Imperial Academy before one is assigned to Darth Vader‘s Star Destroyer, the other to the Death Star. But after watching the destruction of Alderaan & other atrocities, Thane deserts the Empire & ends up becoming a Rebel pilot. #HelpMeObiWanKenobi

It‘s 20yrs after the events in Return Of The Jedi, And now Senator Leia Organa is dealing with opposing factions in the New Republics Galactic Senate. Leia is one of my favourite women in popular culture. She‘s forthright, strong & doesn‘t take crap from anyone. Kinda like the actress who played her so beautifully. #RIPCarrieFisher #PoliticsSuckEvenInTheFuture

#BookMail & #StarWarsHaul Pt3 is the 3rd in the revamped original trilogy. Apparently the 2nd book, The Empire Strikes Back is more popular coz I‘m having to wait for more stock to come in. And from the marks shown up on this cover, there must be a cat in the Booktopia warehouse! Today‘s #BookMail was very Star Wars heavy. I can‘t believe I hadn‘t read any of the books yet considering I‘m a huge SciFi reader. Maybe it was the awful 80s covers in the original books that turned me off🤔I love that they‘ve given the ok to new authors to write their versions of origin stories, this one is about the early life of Princess Leia Organa Of Alderaan by Claudia Gray. #StarWarsHaul #ALongTimeAgoInAGalaxyFarFarAway
