I have posted about this one several times. I'm not sure how many times I have reread it since middle school but I still love it and cried at the end. This was the cover I read in middle school. #retrorereads

I'm so happy I reread these books. For books two and three, it was my first reread and I feel like I enjoyed them even more this time around. #retrorereads

I rewatched the first movie tonight. While entertaining, this is another case of the book is better. I'm going to watch the other movies this weekend for the first time.

saguarosally I got bored a bit into Mockingjay. The Hunger Games was quite intriguing though. 7y
OSChamberlain I also did a reread of these recently! Definitely loved them the second time even more. 7y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa Great series! 7y

Joanne1 I only read these for the first time a couple of years ago after much persuasion from a friend. They were so good, why did I wait so long? Still haven't seen any of the movies. 7y
Gayan I did a reread in April and I agree, I enjoyed them so much more this time. 7y
GypsyKat Love this series! 7y

I'm so happy I picked this for one of my #retrorereads this year. It's been over 20 years since I originally read it and I forgot how great it is and how much they changed in the movie. I'm a fan of both.

I started rewatching the movie this afternoon. That first moment when the dinosaurs come on the screen is still awesome. In the movie and the book, it brings back a #childlike feeling. #maybookflowers Day 22

BookDragonNotWorm This is still one of my favorite books of all times! ❤️ 7y
underthebelljar I read this for the first time a few years ago and loved it! They did change quite a lot in the movie. 7y
GoldenGirl I read this year's after the movie and was shocked by how much was different. But the book is still one of my faves! 7y
dsfisher One of my favorite authors, always looked forward to his next book. 7y
Suet624 Hmmmm... I might have to read this book. I must admit I've never seen the movie or even wished to. But it sounds like I might enjoy the book. 7y

This book is one of my top picks and probably always will be. It was my reread for March, but I just finished it this evening. 😳I think with everything going on in the world and starting the tv series, I put it down several times for other reads. I will always recommend it. #reread #retrorereads

JaclynW Me too! It will always be on my favorites list and one to give as a gift. I just gave it to my niece for her birthday. 😊 7y
Bookworm-Bobbie Same here. It's definitely one of my favourites. I've talked about it so much that people at work are now reading it. 7y
Betty_Bookworm Bless you for rereading. I just read it for the first time and while it was amazing, I couldn't finish fast enough and can't imagine ever reading again. 😳😳😳 7y
SheilaChew Same! I love this book and recommend it all the time. I started the Hulu series tonight - so good! 7y

#stephenking17 Day 8 Misery was my reread for February. #retrorereads I forgot how good it is and how it differs from the movie, which I also enjoy. #lovetoreread

This was my February #retrorereads. This was the first book my then new friend and I bonded over back in the summer of 1994. I can see why I loved it then and I saw a lot of Mockingbird influences in this reread. This is a girl's coming of age in the south as well as her love of horses and her fascination of a religious group who moved into her street. It was also the year anniversary of my friend's death which made this read poignant.

Bookzombie @vivastory @mjdowens Glad this is on your TBR. I think all Littens have out of control TBRs. 🙂 7y
AmyG @Bookzombie Have you read A Secret Plan? If not....READ IT. I loved that book. I remember the exact moment the whole plot changed...on a dime. I was floored. So good. I wish he would write anoter book, too. 7y
Bookzombie @AmyG I will have to push it up on my TBR. I remember it was one Anne's favorites when she talked about it on the Books on the Nightstand podcast. 7y

I read this last year and adored it and began reading it again for #retrorereads but due to school commitments progress has been very slow and so was delighted when I discovered #infinitejestbuddyread I feel that the group postings will help me regroup and focus again! Fortunately I'm currently on track with the schedule, let's do this!

Karkar I like this cover! Looks like a bunch of post-it notes 😍😍 7y

Almost done with January #retrorereads. I read this book more than 20 times growing up so each chapter is a weird form of deja vu.

Pendergast #1 This was just as fun as the first time I read it almost 10 years ago. I love a sci-fi/thriller/horror book or movie with a scary monster. I also think the setting of this book in a vast museum full of dark and spooky spaces was an excellent choice. 4⭐️

Suelizbeth Some of the later books in this series made me have to sleep with the lights on!! 7y
Bookzombie @Suelizbeth that's exciting! I need to pick up book 8 as I read up to that. 7y
DGRachel @Suelizbeth Ooh! Now I really want to get cracking on the series. I finished Relic for the first time earlier this month and there were parts that scared the bejeezus out of me. 😁 7y
Bookzombie @DGRachel It definitely had moments. 🙂 I watched the movie on Hulu today and the book is so much better. I'm tempted to pick up Reliquary and reread it too. 7y
