#Onthespot
1.Definitely from the tagged book-one of the first spy novels to have such a startling twist and set it up in such a good way.
2.So difficult to pick just one!I'll go with Raiders of the hidden ark by Graham Addison, evocative of not just a time but also explores a contested city, the reasons behind archaeology.
3.It would have to be Subterranean Homesick Blues, available on audible, helped me when I was sick with dengue.
4.Gala Brand!

1. Would have to be the unreliable narrator who turns out to be the killer.
2. The True Crime genre but Ruby Ridge by Jess Walter & Someone Else‘s Daughter by Julia Sheppard in specific.
3. The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty(chilling!)& Dune by Frank Herbert.
4. Phryne Fisher! Absolutely awesome aussie🇦🇺

Thanks @Cinfhen for making me think, not enough to make my own questions! #OnTheSpot

Answer these then make your own or use the above👇

thegirlwiththelibrarybag The narrator being the murderer always gets me - like excuse me, I trusted you 😭😯 2y
Cinfhen Thanks for playing along!! Definitely looking up the two nonfiction books as I‘m not familiar with either one. Last year I read this one you recommended and I was riveted 2y
Lizpixie @thegirlwiththelibrarybag I know right? Trust issues anyone?😂 @Cinfhen no problem lovely! Ruby Ridge is fantastic, I assume you know what it‘s about, Someone Else‘s Daughter is heartbreaking, it‘s about the rape & murder of a nurse in the 80s which happened near where I grew up, the killers grew up in the next suburb. I remember it on the news at the time, we were terrified. Anita Cobby could‘ve been any one of us. Her parents were devastated. 2y

CarolynM I've hardly read any non-fiction this year and I've only listened to a handful of audio books, so I don't really feel qualified to answer. Also, I'm never sure what exactly constitutes a plot twist. Sorry, I'm a bit if a dead loss here🙄😬 2y
Lizpixie @CarolynM you can make up your own questions lovely! Go to @Cinfhen post, she explains it better than me🤗 2y
Freespirit Wow I remember reading The Exorcist years ago!! So scary!!! 2y
