5 ⭐! So good! I should have bought the second volume😳there goes my monthly book spending budget I have set for myself 💸 🕯#LitsyReadingChallenge #LRC15. Sadly, this is my first book to read by a Middle Eastern author- Any recommendations to books similar to this one and/ or by Middle Eastern authors?? Wanting to expand my literary horizons 🤓

I enjoyed dipping in and out of this book and felt the premise was clever. I'm just not sure I interacted with the text in a meaningful or memorable way.

I understand this is a well-regarded classic work, and the fact that I hated it says more about me than it does the book itself, but I hated this book. Short on plot and likable characters, long on philosophical and religious discussion. I'm glad I'm done with it.

R.Lyn-Romance-Reads I tried getting into it a while ago but couldn't. I didn't even finish it. Bailed after a few chapters. 3y
awishman @Silent_Whispers I would've bailed too but I was using for several reading challenges. Ugh. At least it's done. 3y

Started this one over the weekend. I'm using it for two prompts from #LitsyReadingChallenge - written by someone your age and translated. Positively adoring it so far!

I loved this book. It charmed me from the start, and it made me teary, which is not an easy task when it comes to the written word. If you ever feel different, if you know the love of a grandmother, or if you're as mad about Harry Potter as our heroine, Elsa, is - read this book!
