VeganCleopatra I agree, it takes practice! I used to dislike audiobooks but now I love them and love that it helps free up time for other things at the same time. 5y

candority I just finished my first audiobook yesterday! I listened while I was driving, as well as when I was doing tasks that weren‘t too mentally demanding (like cooking, getting ready for bed etc.). I‘ve tried audiobooks in the past but gave up because I hated the narrator. If their voice isn‘t working for you, give another audiobook a try! Also, I found that listening at 1.5 of the speed was a lot better! (edited) 6y

Reagan I have a hard time with fiction audiobooks. I typically listen to celebrity autobiographies or collections read by many different narrators. World War Z is great. 6y

My first #audiobook (at least since I was younger when my parents listened to audiobooks--mostly John Grisham--during family road trips)! No wonder you all can read a billion books a year--I got cleaning and laundry done while absolutely enjoying this book! Love RBG and everything she stands for! Gezemice I loved this one! Great choice! That's how I got into audiobooks, too. Chores are more fun and you feel like you are accomplishing two things at once - housework and progress on your TBR. 7y

Finally ventured into the world of audiobooks. Never sure I would have the attention/focus. But my husband got me an Echo dot & I discovered I can cook and listen( usually I play music & dance!) because I can pause or ask "Alexa" to go back to something I missed. Its slow going because he usually cooks or we cook together. But maybe listen with my phone while I garden?

tpixie Yes!! And while driving. Or getting ready in the morning! It took awhile to learn to listen- at first I had rewind a lot, now just occasionally!! Enjoy a new way of reading 📖🎧 7y
