Eve and Roarke visit Selina‘s club and speak to Lobar, who confirms her and Alban, her companion‘s, alibi. ⬇️
pickSo far it is one of my favorite books in this series. The killer having such a rough past doesn't even matter to me. He knew what he did was wrong.

While there, Eve meets the man‘s granddaughter Alice who asks Eve for a clandestine meeting. Eve is also tasked by her commander to look into the death of the cop which may not have been an accident. In fact, he might have been into something shady. Eve is put in a really tough spot wherein she has to hide things from Feeney. ⬇️

#IDLR: Ch:16-20: Eve is determined to find her killer and she‘s determined to have that killer be Jess Barrow. True, he‘s a prick who delves too deeply into her and Roarke‘s minds and played games with her and the people she loves - but does that make him a killer? Mira doesn‘t think so and Eve decides to seek a second opinion (how awkward) from Rhianna. But just as she gets the go ahead from Whitney, Eve realizes Rhianna is behind it all. ⬇️
pickAnother great entry in the In Death series. This one involves some super scary technology. I love watching Eve grow as a person and become more comfortable in her skin. Looking forward to the next #InDeathLongReadalong !
