Loved this book! Amy Poeppel never disappoints.

Women in Dallas and Berlin switch homes and lives. Today‘s beach read.

A fun read for anyone in need of a different perspective and a summer escape. 🎧

I absolutely loved this one— my first experience with the author! Lucy‘s looking for an escape from Dallas in the wake of a school scandal with her oldest son. In Berlin, Greta discovers her husband spontaneously (& uncharacteristically) changed his sabbatical location from NYC to TX, so rather tipsily agrees to a house swap with Lucy. This family drama had me laughing throughout—hooked from the very first page! It‘s so much fun! Great characters!

Idea, intentions and premise were very good - this book definitely speaks to an important and timely issue for women - I simply did not love how it was executed here...
14/23 I think maybe this one suffered from heightened expectations. It was ok but it took 200 pages to draw me in and the ending left me flat. The characters didn‘t feel very well rounded. All in all I was a little disappointed. I read this one for #booked2023 #titlebeginswithvorw
