Why have some many many book covers over the past couple of years portray headless women, partial heads, back of head‘s. I find it personally insulting. It feels like publishers want to silence us- it feels derogatory to me. Maybe someone in publishing can clue me in. Is it artistic style?

Maria514626 @kspenmoll it drives me bonkers when we can‘t see their faces. Argh. Makes sense (?) in the current context. My eyes are constantly strained from rolling and my forehead tender from slapping. (edited) 2y
marleed I wondered if it is a financial thing. My son shoots commercial video. His wife is in the background from time to time but her face never shows. Once a few years ago her face was accidentally included and she still randomly receives a check in the mail. 2y
