This is one of my favourite images from the book. The narrator of the poem has been told to stop wearing capes, flowing scarves, and funny hats, so she buys more hats (above) and borrows more scarves from mom. 💙💙💙

pickThis is really short, but it‘s absolutely adorable and a great message for all little girls. The picture collages are great. I wish I could share them all. The added touch of the little feature for each of the girls in the book is a bonus delight. Such a great poem about not being what people want you to be because you‘re a girl. I want to have a daughter just so I can read this to her every night.
