1️⃣ Reread. I originally listened to the audiobook when it first came out. Love that it's narrated by Richard Armitage. Also own a print copy. First Impressions - such a gorgeous cover.
2️⃣ Adam. His mother reminds me of my mother. “You read too much. You read her too much."
3️⃣ Human chain to fill Adam's haycart with books and then drive through town.

pickAfter finishing The Jane Austen Society by Natalie Jenner for April's #12MonthsOfJane immediately started rereading Bloomsbury Girls. I had forgotten that Daphne du Maurier makes appearance. Quite fun since I had just finished #HashtagBrigade read of Rebecca.
Favorite part of Rebecca is descriptions of tea & gardens @ Manderley. Don't actually like any of the main characters. But I still absolutely love the book.

Hello #Pemberlittens friends! I‘ve made the difficult decision to end our #JaneAdjacent buddy reads starting in May. Or at least to end my role in hosting them. I‘ve found recently that I‘ve overcommitted myself on Litsy and in real life and I need to step back. I‘ve so enjoyed our discussions and the books we‘ve chosen that have brought us back into Jane‘s world. If anyone is interested in taking up the mantle, you have my blessing!

I has print copy on my Forever Shelf but this time I decided to listen to audiobook. Great narration! Just as delightful on a second read.

I generally reread Pride and Prejudice in my Birthday month of June. When I first started keeping track on @Goodreads I estimated I had read every other year since I was 16. My current read count is 18 times and that's probably on low side.⬇️

8️⃣ I would live there, put up a Notice 'to apply to the Housekeeper for tours'. I would cosplay Mrs. Reynolds from Pride and Prejudice, give tours, then make up stories about myself.⬇️
