My husband and I read this book while we were dating and we found it completely charming. We even share an anniversary date with a couple in this book (I won't say which).
My husband proposed in the library. Our wedding vows included a promise to share our books (although we didn't shelve them together for the first 2 years). Our wedding reception featured our favorite books and recommended reading lists.
