Victory 1918: The Last 100 Days | Tim Cook, Jack Lawrence Granatstein

Pickpick

I read this between Sept 18 & Oct 2 & gave it 4 ⭐️. Whilst it is originally intended as a companion to an exhibit at The Canadian War Museum, the book serves as a good starting guide to the Canadian involvement in The Hundred Days campaign of WWI. It makes me want to read more about the campaign, and about Canada‘s role.

I decided to do the #100day challenge (1 mile a day for 100 days). I thought it‘d help me start a good habit the last quarter of this year. And so I broke down & got an Apple Watch. Something about making the circles close is rather motivating.

So since I was starting #100days today, I decided to make it more fun by #audiowalking. I needed a romance for my rapid readers September board.

It‘s a win-win-win.

Some photos from my #audiowalk

Jen_Reads I got an Apple Watch a few weeks ago because I figured it would keep me more active and it has. I‘m disappointed if I don‘t get a ring closed. 4y
wanderinglynn @Jen_Reads That‘s what I‘m hoping for. 👍🏻 I need some motivation. 4y
Reggie So I gained 17 pounds in quarantine. In August I decided to do 16/8 intermittent fasting and walk. They say 10,000 steps is a pretty good goal. I would walk 3 miles and they‘d say congrats on 8-9000 steps. Holy crap what does it take to get the 10k,right? Well now I‘m back at work and forgot how much we walked. My first week I averaged 16k steps a day. Yesterday l, I found out I‘m back to prepandemic weight. So yayyy!!! Good luck to you on your 4y
Reggie challenge, Lynn! 4y
