Thanks for the tag @Andrew65
1: I never really dressed up for Halloween, it wasn't a big deal here in the UK when I was younger. My dad never saw the point in it.
2: again I'm not sure I read many so I tagged meg and mog as she was a witch. That or maybe Halloween party by Agatha Christie when I was a teen.
I tag @Klou @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks and anyone else who hasn't played yet.
@TheSpineView #TwoforTuesday.

Andrew65 I love Meg and Mog books, used to help our youngest learn to read! 2y

1.) I had an incredible rubber alien mask when I was younger, it was terrifyingly real looking and I wore that and basically a black blanket over my shoulders. 😂

2.) I've tagged it! 🧙‍♀️💫

I made bubble and squeak with zucchini two days in a row and it got decimated. Shows how much this comfort dish is loved .

LeahBergen Yum! 2y
LiteraryinLawrence What is bubble and squeak? 2y
quirkyreader @LiteraryinLititz It is a dish comprised of cabbage and onions that it fried in oil. I did a variation with this one and added squash. 2y

Here‘s where the tales really take off! With the Thomas stories, there‘s a valuable lesson to be learned at the end of the story. Thomas is so like a small child. He‘s naughty, sprightly, fun, silly, but always teachable. 😉 I loved watching Shining Time Station when I was kid and this was a fun bit of nostalgia. 38/1,001 #1001ChildrensBooks

When his son was ill, Awdry told him stories. His wife saw something in it and soon, the anthropomorphized trains we all know and love were born! This is about Edward, Gordon, and Henry and they each have their own distinct personality. 37/1,001 #1001ChildrensBooks

Here‘s my estimate for the first day of the #27Hours7Days Readathon. To be honest, it was probably more than that, but it‘s hard to say without a timer. I finished my #BookSpin pick yesterday, along with 10 children‘s books from the #1001ChildrensBooks list, and 16 comics for my #100GNsin2020 goal. It was a great day for reading, and I can only hope I can carry on with this momentum. 💙

Personally, I love the idea of the piggies breaking out of their story and creating their own ending. A lot of pages would encourage questions with your little one, like, “oh my gosh, what are they doing!?” 😊😊😊 It isn‘t easy to take a tried-and-true tale and reinvent it & I think that‘s where Wiesner is successful 36/1,001 #1001ChildrensBooks

I spent the weekend in Delft with colleagues on a trip paid for by my employer. And while we did some things together there was more than enough time to do some shopping.

I feel completely for Miffy, the grey teddy bear in front, and when I found out that she was created by a Dutch I decided that she was a souvenir.

And I found the Harry Potter calendar in the LEGO store and just had to have it.
