Listening to this audiobook. Good so far.

Well-written story that kept me wanting to read until the end. However the first 1/4 of the book was a bit slow for me (it was setting up the remained of the story). Once the story picked up, I couldn‘t put the book down. Towards the end, things became predictable. If you can get through the first 1/4, I would recommend.

Skipped a lot in this book. Did not care for the animal cruelty in it.

I struggled through this book. I found it hard to follow. It did all come together in the final chapter. I also found the animal cruelty too gruesome for me.
