This one is a soft pick, a collection of 8 variations of Little Red Riding Hood. I reserved this one back in August so I could read it for September's #Fairytalereadingchallenge ( @Charityann ) but it just arrived on Tuesday!! These were all a bit ridiculous and my favorite part was probably the author's foreword explaining why the original story is also ridiculous haha

This was ok. I love fairytales and fairytale retellings. The stories were cute and though not quite funny, definitely amusing. However, I‘m not sure if the opening of the book was the authors attempt at satire or not, but it almost put me off listening to it because it just came off as a bitchy way of saying “most fairytales are stupid and basically suck. So I‘ve written better ones. Enjoy.” Overall this was basically cute. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I decided to listen to this short audiobook while I put my new bookshelf together.

B+ for fractured fairy tales, A+ for cat pillow. I won't be making the #24in48 goal but still sneaking in some reading, and have gone well past last years reading! #catsoflitsy #kittenlitten
