#AugustABC #Innocence I came to William Blake through Allen Ginsberg. His obsession with the poet is well known .I treasure my Doubleday edition of Blake , I couldn‘t find it used and purchased it when I really wasn‘t making much money. That makes the fact that I kept it so long even sweeter.
Just found out about the wonderful #PoetryMatters challenge by @LazyDays 💜 I'm going to try to participate ... as much as I can 😁 Today's (Aug 2) prompt is #smile and this one by William Blake fits the bill.
Background is his painting Glad Day or The Dance of Albion (1794).
