Pickpick

A sweet little novella about a woman visiting her adult son‘s family in his castle in the 19th century. There‘s years of hurt in their history, but as both the Duke and his mother become a little vulnerable there‘s a chance for healing. I loved the mother‘s connection with the local Vicar. And the Duke‘s wife Persephone is delightful! I had no idea this was part of a series, but it works as a standalone. Now I want to read more from this author.
