This book is a poem about a Cherokee family waiting for one of their own (a granddaughter) to return from being a pilot in the war. That was cool, but then the Authors Note at the end added so much new context and history, that it made me feel like the rest of the book missed its mark a bit. #bbrc #atoz:A
