#CasttheDie pick! This was my least favourite so far. I wasn't interested in Wilder as a character which made it difficult to care about the romance.

The trope of alpha mate being everyone's parent isn't one I'm fond of especially when the characters are around the same age. Josh immediately telling people off was weird. He's only known them as his friends‘ boyfriends and suddenly he's treating them like children.

PuddleJumper I also wasn't keen on the MC coming out of an abusive relationship and going straight into an under negotiated D/s relationship.

IriDas Far too many D/s relationships in stories are presented this way. It screams “I have no idea what I‘m talking about. The only research I did was click on a tag on a fanfiction site.” 2mo
PuddleJumper @IriDas Exactly. Even a throw away line about negotiations and expectations would be enough, they don't need to include details. Also, aftercare! Include aftercare! 2mo
