Oh, big Coraline vibes. Very good middle grade to pick up around Halloween. I already had issues with clowns and dolls so this DID NOT help that but I loved how smart the main character is.

emz711 Oh man, if it's like Neil Gaiman then I'm there! 3y

Perfect way to start the new year. A lovely little tale that is reminiscent of Coraline! Adorably creepy and very well done!

This was eerie enough that I would not recommend it to children, even if it's middle-grade, but rather to young adults.

I‘ve been not feeling too great over the last week and have been mainly reading children‘s books, this being the current one. My cold is finally getting better and so is the weather. :) #currentlyreading

Victoria hated that feeling, and any between feelings, for that matter. Things should be one or the other, not somewhere in the middle, and lately, everything was in the middle.

5 hissing beetles!! Such a creepy, gross, and horrifying story. It's a delightfully awful horror book; great pick for someone who loves CORALINE!
