Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange
Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange: Based on the Novel by Anthony Burgess | Anthony Burgess, Stanley Kubrick
5 posts | 14 read | 6 to read
This work is Stanley Kubrick's authorized screenplay of A Clockwork Orange. Kubrick never allowed stills photographers on his sets, so this work is illustrated with over 800 frames selected by Kubrick. The complete dialogue of the film runs throughout the book enabling the film to be read against the frames.

This book has the entire script from the movie as well as stills from every scene in the film.

I've not seen the movie in years, so it was cool reading all that incredible dialogue again.

The movie and the novel are masterpieces, in my opinion, this book however is not essential.

Movie night! Sporting my favorite sweater from my favorite book! I've only had two books give me nightmares (A Clockwork Orange & American Psycho), and I have to admit that watching their films was much easier to stomach than reading the novels.
