2️⃣ I‘m reading the tagged book prior to starting the ARC of the second book in the series. It‘s been a while since I‘ve read a light regency romance romp & it‘s fun so far! 🤗

And my third neighbor island flight of the week is to Kauai. The usual caffeine & breakfast (potato, cheddar & chive cakes). I‘ve got to do some work but hope to read more of the tagged book on the quick flight there and back.

It‘s a later flight today & my airport barista said, “Debra, you‘re late today!” That‘s when you know you are spending too much time & money at the airport! 😂

This delightful book transported me back to England, in the year 1820. I definitely experienced the joy of reading as I became absorbed into Georgie and Harry‘s world. This book was filled with charm, lovable characters, tenderness, much hilarity, satisfying romance and really good storytelling. I really enjoyed it!

This was a slow burn but loved that the main characters lives were very descriptive . I felt that I knew the characters personally. I also really enjoyed the aspect of Harry, the main male character, realizing that the life he was living was manufactured by someone else, and it wasn't where his happiness grew. The governess, Georgina is one of the protégés and how she evolves is fun. Grumpy to sunshine, enemies to lovers.

Book 110/100.

I loved this sweet story and its lovable characters.
Georgie Rowe is an outspoken and opinionated young governess who believes that children should enjoy a childhood that is everything hers was not…namely filled with fun, laughter and adventure. Her first long-overdue posting (see outspoken and opinionated…) is to the household of former naval captain Harry Kincaid whose flighty sister leaves her three children with him for an extended stay ⬇️
