A manor house available rent-free to house-sitters is an offer that is too good to miss for Cass and James. Although it has been abandoned for almost thirty years, after an incident left, almost all the inhabitants died.
This book started well, but then the sudden introduction of more characters just left really confused.

Wow what a twist filled ride this was. I wasn't expecting some of the many twists in this. I did figure out James quite quickly but the rest was cleverly done, taking me by surprise. This is quite a fast paced read with a very dramatic ending. You just don't know what anyone is capable of and who is hiding what? The story jumps from the past to the present often in alternating chapters which are often quite short. #Netgalley 4*
