The Wives: A Memoir | 
pickI spent 38 years as a Dept of Army civilian. Military wives were part of neighborhoods, my work environment, my friends, (my mother-in-law). I wasn‘t expecting this book to be insightful for me but it was. The whole enlisted vs officer‘s wife thing - boy, I get it. The kids thing - I get it. But my experiences were never with a community of special ops soldiers and their spouses - what they endure is a unique fraternity/sorority of emotion.
