Fairytale retellings with Prince Charming as a villainous character and three of the charmed princesses bonding to get their revenge on him? Sounded fun, but I just didn't gel with the writing style and the overall 'it's supposed to be Pratchett-esque but trying too hard' feeling that made me dislike the book more than I liked it.

Tiny #AudiobookRant

Is it too much to ask that a narrator checks the pronunciation of a word they might not have spoken aloud before? Or that the editor picks up on the error?

The noun "scythe" and verb "scythed" come up several times right at the beginning of the book and are pronounced "skythed" ?? makes me shudder. The C is silent.

The plot and writing style aren't great either. I might bail.

Hooked_on_books This deeply irritates me as well. Especially in the internet age, when one can google a word and get a pronunciation easily. I actually even heard a reader pronounce Uber as “You-Ber” recently. Really?!? 9mo

So much fun to read! A crazy heist fairytale that was fast paced and hilarious. Fun ending too that definitely leaves the door open just enough in case there are future books. A mixed up mashup in the best possible way.
