3 ⭐ I love the illustrations of these books, and the stories are nice, but I wish they rhymed better, or the cadence was better. It just does not roll of the tongue in an expected way, and it makes the books less then what they could be.

rockpools Ryan!!! I was just dithering whether to ask whether you‘d be doing BBRC again this year (reckoned you‘ve earned a year off!) - then I found your friend request on StoryGraph! Squeeee! Since last year, I‘ve moved from business info to library-library, bounce and rhyme, summer reading challenge and the rest. I actually cited BBRC in my interview as proof I wasn‘t totally out of the loop with children‘s lit, despite the evidence! THANK YOU! 😁 11mo
