I am maybe reading this at the moment? Finding it a wee bit confusing in the initial pages, but that could just be my current head space. I really loved Three Bags Full, though and probably found it a little confusing at first as well.

I‘ve been on a “cozy British mystery” binge of late before really diving into my TBR. Some pretty decent stuff I‘ve come across from some indie publishing companies and authors. Some of the books got cut off in the crop by Litsy.

Agnes Sharp converted her home, Sunset Hall to a shared living situation for pensioners and they‘ve become a family of sorts. None of them came through life unscathed, and they have secrets from their past. And none more than Agatha who is investigating the deaths of people she once knew. Although I‘ve enjoyed the Thursday Murder Club books, this story is darker, and more complex. I loved it; and Hettie, the tortoise is a fantastic character!

Publishing #ThisTuesday A quirky murder mystery involving a group of senior citizens who live together in an old family mansion as an alternative to being placed in a senior care residence. The characters were delightful and the audio was FANTASTIC however I found myself losing interest too much of the time and I couldn‘t help comparing this book to the Osman series, which I believe is better done. #ARC #NetGalley

This was a fun and quirky read. Having not read the german version, I thought the translation for this was pretty good. I enjoyed the old folks living together as “hippies“ and solving mysteries. I also enjoyed the slow reveal of other mysteries that we started the book off with. The murderer wasn't too hard to guess, nor the twist, but it was a fun ride getting to the end.
