Nothing like a cute, easy read to offset the holiday craziness.

Will Halpin is the new kid at a mainstream HS, having transferred from a school for the Deaf. When explaining what being deaf means to him and his feelings of being a misfit, in addition to his observations on HS culture, he's very funny and his cutting humor made me laugh. He also manages to solve a murder mystery with a couple of his friends. As you may have guessed, this is YA. I recommend this one for a look at #deafness and #disabilities.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I live for YA murder mysteries 7y
ValerieAndBooks @thegirlwiththelibrarybag the mystery doesn't really happen until later in the book --it's more like it happens to have it thrown in. But still a fun read! 7y
Suzze I bought this a long time ago, thanks for the reminder. The problem with all my books being double shelved is forgetting what is behind. 7y
ValerieAndBooks @Suzze ah yes, the double shelving that all us real book lovers do😊. It is a quick read once you do get to it! 7y
