so-soThis book wasn‘t really for me. I can appreciate the research gone into but to me it just read like a school text book. It‘s so dry. And there are so many female characters called Hannah! Very confusing. I persevered with it as it was a book chosen by my local reading group. We all felt the same about it. Love the cover, though. Very attractive.
I‘m reading this with my local book group, the theme being a biography. I‘ve been reading a chapter or so a day - I‘m finding it quite dry. I‘m not a big non-fiction fan so it‘s a bit of a slog for me. I have to read it alongside a book I am enjoying or I think I‘d go mad! We‘re not meeting up until 12 June so hopefully I will have either read it all or at least a good deal of it! 🥱

A fascinating book, but would have worked better in print, rather than listening to the audiobook while working. It‘s very dense and dry, with a lot of dates & names that became difficult to keep track of. Did like learning about these women!🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
