Incredibly clever & fun middle grade fantasy adventure that needs more hype. The world-building was interesting & I loved the atmosphere. Very entertaining. A good, strong female protagonist & good character interactions. A solid ending with great handling of more mature & difficult topics/situations. Some great lessons about personal strength & importance of verifying information. Strong character development & a good example for young readers.
