Hmm. I know I am being harsh on the author but it felt like he wanted to replicate the success of War of Art by writing on the same subject (art of writing) and on a similar style but failed.
pickDon't let the title put you off, Steven Pressfield and (editor) Shawn Coyne are the sympathetic, but plain spoken friends that creative types need. I love Pressfield's books on the craft of writing; The War of Art may be my favorite, and this newest volume feels like a continuation of the same conversation. I bought it "just to have," but once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. ❤️
