Kit & Keith have been invited by the GM to spend their honeymoon at The Pink Hotel. This is part of an effort to hire Keith as assistant GM. Meanwhile wildfires sweep LA which means Kit & Keith are trapped with unhappy staff and demanding guests. I disliked everyone in this novel, but felt engaged nonetheless by the sheer thoughtlessness and selfishness of the characters. Thanks to Farrar, Straus and Giroux and NetGalley for the free copy.

The cover sucked me in but the characters let me down. No complaints with reading outside on such a lovely morning.

This will be a very polarizing book - #RichPeopleProblems ate definitely my jam but I can see how cringy this could be. I‘m enjoying the narration and atmospheric setting- the Pink Hotel aka the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel 💖🙌🏻 While newlyweds Keith & Kit are honeymooning at the posh hotel, which is beyond their means, the California wild fires are raging out of control and heading towards the city. As the fires near tensions arise. #NetGalley
