I found this book about a daughter and her relationship with her mother a captivating read. The author did a good job of describing how she uncovered tender feelings toward her mother as she cared for her.

This quirky title on my Kindle (Prime books to check out for free!) caught my eye. I really hoped it wasn't a dark modern version of Oedipus. It wasn't. It's a memoir of a woman and her difficult crazy mother which makes my difficult mother-daughter relationship absolutely sound boring. Told from an honest, insightful, witty and tender POV, I'm really enjoying it so far.
Not sure why they chose this title.
