I guess this is my week for middle grade novels on audio. I listened to a goodly chunk of the second Tristan Strong book while I chopped chard and did a few other kitcheny things. #audiocooking

So that‘s where we‘re ending before book 3? I was watching the time run down and screaming for there to be more! Book 2 is fantastic and has just as many twists and turns as the first and I can‘t wait to see where it goes next. This also marks my completion of the Feb #BookSpin which seems appropriate!

I had a #NetGalley copy of the tagged book 2 in the Tristan Strong series, & when ready to read it, book 1 wasn‘t available from the library, so I just started book 2. Halfway through I knew I was missing connections, so I downloaded the audio of book 1. I finished both this week. They involve folktales & mythology I know very little about, but they made me want to learn more. A great addition to modern #MiddleGrade #mythology adaptations!
