October #BookSpin done! @TheAromaofBooks

This is a borderline pick, I'm rounding up. Still, it kept me reading, and I'd read another by the author. Another one off the tbr!

The book is in another room and I'm too lazy to go get a pic, so have some autumn flowers instead.

Very excited for my #BookSpin and #doublespin picks this month! Both have been on my tbr for way too long.

Thanks @TheAromaofBooks 🙂

Such a great book even though I'm reading it on my kindle, the feel of a book in my hand and it's scent is always better.
This novel really makes me want to talk to the elderly, I want to hear their stories, stories that they didn't get the chance to publish. #quarantine #kindle

Mehso-so

I‘ll give it a so-so instead of a pan because I did finish it. But the premise is one that has been done before, and better, by others. Read Amy Tan‘s Valley of Amazement instead.

As opposed to all the negative reviews of this book, I actually like it. It had enough saucy storylines, yet enough drama to hold my attention. Good deviation away from the heavy books I was reading before.
