This is an adorable about a daughter loving her mama and how she wants to be everywhere where her mama is.

I love all of the pictures in this book. They are beautifully illustrated and help tell the story!

Published in 2020. Cozbi's book follows a young girl as she goes through her day with her mother. They do everything together and the young girl describes how her mothers things look compared to her own. I would not recommend this book to read in the classroom because multiple children in your room may not have a mother that they can follow around throughout the day. This book won the Caldecott award.

This book is a fiction book that won the Caldecott in 2021 and was published in 2020. It shows a great relationship between a daughter and her mother. It shows how and what her mother teaches her throughout the day. It was a good book I just don‘t fully know what kind of a lesson it could bring for a whole classroom. But still a good book!

This book was published in 2021 and was a Caldecott winner! This is a very cute story of a girls love for her mother. It shows the friendship and love that from between the mother and daughter and tells a story about the admiration the daughter has for her mom.

This is such a cute short story. It goes through an ordinary day of a young black girl. Children can relate to this story as they may feel the way the main character does about her mom. It includes dialogue that can be used for a great read aloud.

This book, Me & Mama, was published in 2021. It falls under the Caldecott award as a book honor. This book is perfect for young children. It includes beautiful scenes through illustration and fun dialogue. Children can engage and relate to this story!

I think this book would be a greta way to open a discussion with students about who is a role model in their life and who is someone that makes them feel that loved.

The illustrations are phenomenal and it really transports you back to when I was a child. It shows the desire to be just like your mother when you were a young girl. Very sweet.

The illustrations are realistic acrylic and are beautiful hues to match the tone throughout the story. This story really highlights the love of family and the relationship between mothers and daughters. It brings adults back into childhood. Published in 2021.

My first thought when reading this book was to show it at the beginning of the year. This could really help students out with missing their family during the first few days of school.

The Caldecott award book, Me & Mama was an eye catcher. The illustrations were beautiful which told a story within while also reading about the story. It went in depth of a day with the child and her mother and showed true love between the family.

“I‘ve tiptoed to where she is in the house. It smells like cinnamon. Papa and Luca are still sleeping, but I want to be everywhere Mama is.”

I think the book shows the significance of the relationship between this child and her mother. It shows that she is her best friend and she can count on her mother for anything.

I liked the book it was a cute story for young children to listen to.

I got this book for my sister to read to my niece and nephew. She left it on the couch and then caught my nephew spontaneously having a moment with it 💛

I thought this was a sweet book of exploration, magical mini poems, and lovely illustrations. I fell head over heels for one of the pages that talks about moss growing in pavement cracks... It's green velvet 🥰 #PictureBook
